The Newcomer Centre of Peel (NCP) – for those unfamiliar, is a multi service charitable non-profit organization – will be hosting the Rural Employment Job Fair on Tuesday March 20th, 2018 from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM, with the location being:
Maple Banquet Hall
1325 Eglinton Ave. East
The NCP is an organization that specializes in assisting newcomer families with integrating themselves and their loved ones within the Region of Peel, thus making adjusting and settlement in the town less tasking which in turn make it easier for them to be able to obtain sustainable habitability in Mississauga – and the Peel Region as a whole. Thus – the purpose of the Rural Employment Job Fair – which is designed to aid prospective job seekers in that spectrum.
First, to be able to attend you must:
-an individual eligible to work in Canada
-possess a work permit
-be a Convention refugee
So come by and receive an “interview with employers in rural areas and access information on how to settle in these welcoming communities”.
A myriad of companies have registered and will be present from:
-Food Companies (FMI Group – Pizza Hut, Mars Canada, Paramount Fine Foods)
-Health Care/ Nursing (St. Joseph’s Care Group, Saint Elizabeth Health Care)
-Fortune 500 (Honda Canada Manufacturing [Alliston])
-Hospitality (Holiday Inn Express Woodstock and Quality Inn Leamington)
-Child Care (Little Beginnings Day Care)
… and many more. So there will be opportunities for possible employment in a vast amount of fields and disciplines which cater to many different skill levels. So whether you work with your hands (physical labour) or your head you are likely to find something for you.
