We’re always excited when a new restaurant opens in Mississauga and, to be honest, always a little more excited when it’s a burger joint!
Such is the case today ladies and gents, as a new burger restaurant has opened in the city. Gourmand 5 A.D. recently opened its doors at 3100 Winston Churchill Boulevard, and it immediately established itself as one of the city’s most unique eateries.
Gourmand 5 A.D. is your local burger shop that always welcomes its customers with a smile. With a large menu of vegan, veg and non-veg burgers, we provide you with a tasty burger treat. With handmade burgers and sauces, our chef-inspired flavours are sure to steal away your heart.
Our menu is a delight for meat eaters who want classic non-veg stuff for their fast food cravings. Whether you are with your friends, family or colleagues, we are ready to make your experience of eating with us a complete treasure.
So what makes Gourmand 5 A.D. unique? Well it’s themed after the year 5 A.D. in the Roman Empire. The walls look like concrete and you’ll even find a caricature of Julius Caesar on the wall.
And while that’s all well and good, the food is the star of the show here. A standard cheeseburger only costs $5.99, while a classic burger with all the trimmings costs $8.99. Beyond that, you’ll find burgers like The Gourmand (double patty, beef bacon, jack, fried onions, sauteed mushrooms, fried egg, roasted garlic aioli), RosaMaria (onion rings, white jack, lettuce, tomato, rosemary aioli), Vesuvius (deep fried mozza cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion rings, pickles, and garlic sauce), and several others.
There’s also chicken burgers, veggie burgers, hand-cut fries, feta fries, milkshakes, and more. Gourmand 5 A.D. is reminiscent of Burger’s Priest in that it’s a themed burger restaurant, but also in that it offers very high-quality burgers that are made in-house. It’s delicious and well worth a trip to 3100 Winston Churchill Boulevard. We’ll see you atop the mountain!
