Ladies and gentlemen, you will want to make your way to 4141 Living Arts Drive on December 15th or December 16th (or both!) to experience the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra playing Christmas songs.

There are two performances occurring this weekend; Highlights from Messiah, and Merry Little Christmas. You can read the two descriptions below:

Highlights from Messiah

“Join us for a concert of highlights from Handel’s masterwork oratorio, Messiah. The brilliant voices of our outstanding soloists and the Mississauga Festival Chamber Choir join the orchestra in selections which include the uplifting and iconic Hallelujah Chorus.”

A Merry Little Christmas

“A family concert featuring a combined orchestra comprised of MSO and MSYO musicians with our guest youth choir “Resonance” will play your holiday favourites such as: Sleigh Ride, Hockey Night in Canada theme and movie themes. Sing along with Silent Night, Joy to the World, The 12 Days of Christmas and MORE. Visit the free Long & McQuade Instrument Petting Zoo in the Atrium. Suitable for children of all ages! Sells out every year!”

Highlights from Messiah takes place on Saturday December 15th at 8:00 PM, and tickets can be purchased here. While Merry Little Christmas is on Sunday the 16th and you can grab the tickets here. The cost of the shows is $40-$50 for adults, while there are child and senior discounts available.

The Mississauga Symphony Orchestra at the Living Arts Centre is guaranteed to be a mesmerising performance of both sight and sound. You can experience it for yourself at Hammerson Hall on December 15th or 16th, and it will be a great way to ring in the Christmas season! Feliz Navidad!
