The Summer Concert Series is in full-swing in both Port Credit and Streetsville, but we want to tell you about what’s coming-up in Streetsville in the next few weeks.
The Series has been taking place every Friday, and has been since early July. We have four weeks left of the fun however, with the next occurring on Friday the 9th at the Village Square. The act this coming week is Carla & The Latintrain, an experienced act that brings great Latin music to the city. Check out the official description below:
“Carla & The Latintrain is a musical band formed 6 years ago by a few talented individuals who shared the love to promote their southamerican roots thorough music, collaborating to create a perfect mix of songs that take the listener on a journey to our colourful lands. A vibrant melting pot of Latin rhythms such as Bolero, Cha-Cha, Son, Salsa, Cumbia and more with a pinch of jazz, with lyrics both in Spanish and English, Latintrain’s goal is to engage all audiences and create a big party ambiance celebrating life and sounds anywhere they go. For the past 6 years Latintrain been playing all around the GTA, proudly representing their roots and spreading the latin vibe in festivals like, Carabram, Carassauga, Coubourgh Latin Festival, Panamerican Jazz Festival, Inti Raimy and many more.”
Carla & The Latintrain is just the next event happening, but there’s three subsequent weeks to get excited about. Those include Jammers Waffle House on August 16th, Jacob Bihun on August 23rd, and One in the Chamber on August 30th.
If you’re a fan of free music, and who isn’t? Then you should come to Streetsville’s Village Square on August 9th at 7 PM. Then again for the next three weeks for more great music and camaraderie. So come join the fun and entertainment, and we’ll see you there!
