Celebration Square has been on fire this year with incredible festivals and events happening multiple times a week, all summer long! That tradition is set to continue well into the fall this year, so there will be plenty more events for you to attend. The next such event, is TD Mosaic 2018!

The TD Mosaic is better known as the South Asian Festival, and it will take place at Celebration Square on August 3rd & 4th. This year actually marks the 13th year of the event, which actually makes it Mississauga’s longest-running festival!

So this year’s Mosaic Festival will host an impressive line up of artists including Richa Sharma from Bollywood, Kathak Dance superstars from India, Vidha Lal, talent from the Coke Studio in Pakistan, Humera Channa, Denique LeBlanc from Quebec, and special appearances by local and international talent. It’s quite the musical line-up to be sure, and these performances include dance performances as well.

It’s not all music however, as the festival will also have fourteen food vendors, which will include an ice cream truck, shawarma, and crepes to name but a few. Furthermore, there will be up to twenty different shopping vendors that will offer clothes, accessories, bathroom supplies, hockey and more. And, while you’re off shopping and stuffing delicious food in your face, you can leave your kids at the Fun Point – an area with a bounce castle and kids rides.

The TD Mosaic Festival takes place this weekend and it’s easy to see why it’s Mississauga’s longest-running festival. Come join the long-standing tradition and celebrate South Asian culture at the TD Mosaic at Celebration Square!
