Port Credit is known for its night life; there’s two bars on every corner and it’s the place where people gravitate towards when they’re seeking a fun night on the town. Whether it’s Spice, El Jefe, Fifty-Five, or Shore, there’s a bar for every type of individual. Or at least, there will be soon.

A new bar is opening in Port Credit within the next month and it’s a pretty darn unique one: The Studio Paint Bar. So have you ever been to a paint night at a local bar? There’s been dozens in Mississauga since the start of the year alone, in places like The Brogue Inn, Bier Market and Boston Pizza. Basically, the events are curated by organisations who bring paint supplies, including easels and canvases, and people come to get a paint lesson. While people paint they can drink, laugh, and at the end of the night, take their finished work home.

These paint nights have become very popular as a date night, as well as a different way of groups of friends having fun. It’s also great because it suits people of all ages. So, it’s great news then that Port Credit’s newest bar is a dedicated paint studio, so people can come and join the fun every single week!

Not only is The Studio Paint Bar unique to Port Credit but it’s also the very first dedicated paint studio in all of Mississauga! The bar will be located at 80 Port Street East, a location that used to be a tea house. The first event for the studio is currently scheduled for July 24th, so we’re expecting that to either be the opening night or shortly thereafter.

That first paint night will be Latin themed, with the name La Vida Loca. The event will be a benefit for the Community Foundation of Mississauga, with tickets costing $55 for a two-hour painting tutorial, a glass of wine, appetizers, and live entertainment. After that night, customers will be able to drop into weekly events or book private events with the studio.

Mississauga’s first dedicated paint studio and bar will be open soon, and you should be among the first to try it out!
