Hard as it is to believe, the year is at an end. Even harder to believe, but the entire decade is drawing to a close. However we say push your extensional crisis to the side for a day or two and close out the decade with a party like no other!

Mississauga’s Celebration Square is hosting a New Year’s Eve bash like every year on December 31st, and it’s promising that the 2019/2020 shindig will be the biggest yet. Here’s some more information about the huge, once-in-a-lifetime event from the organisers:

Ring in 2020 at MCS with 30,000 of your closest friends. New Year’s Eve at Celebration Square is the city’s biggest New Year’s celebration.

We’re welcoming 2020 in style with an award winning lineup of today’s hottest acts. Juno Award winning hip hop artist Jazz Cartier will headline this year’s event, with a bombastic performance you won’t want to miss. Bring your dancing shoes, because Spotify sensation Shope, and pop dynamo LU KALA will have you grooving all night long. Hosted by Mississauga’s own Scott Willats and MCS emcee Mariah Amber, Celebration Square will welcome 2020 with a bang.

Celebration Square’s NYE 2020 party is one of the biggest in the country and it’s friendly for the entire family. There’s live music, skating, food trucks, and even kids performances, all before the big blowout.

The event will run from 8 pm until midnight, and there’s a lot more to see and do than just the fireworks. Below is the schedule for the New Year’s Eve party at Celebration Square:

8 pm – NYE JR. with the Mini Pop Kids
9 pm – Confetti Countdown
9:15 pm – LU KALA
10:10 pm – Shope
11:05 pm – Jazz Cartier
Midnight – Fireworks Finale presented by Tim Hortons

Celebration’s Square’s New Year’s Eve 2020 is a free event for everyone and is the city’s biggest bash. Even better yet, MiWay services to the area are free during the time frame. So come to Celebration Square on December 31st and say goodbye to the 2010’s. Have a bite to eat, a drink, and ring in the new decade surrounded by friends and family. That’s what Mississauga is all about!
