Celebration Square is in full force right now, with events happening on a daily basis; Arts On The Screens, Movie Nights, and The 2018 World Cup in Russia. Of course, it shows no signs of stopping and the fun events will continue all the way through to the winter returns.

One of the next biggest event taking place at Celebration Square this Summer, is the TD IRIE Music Festival on Friday June 22 and Saturday June 23! Check out the flyer below for all the details:

That’s right, for two days at the end of the month, you can come to Celebration Square and enjoy great music all day long! And, just in case it wasn’t clear on the flyer, both days are completely FREE!!

The festival kicks-off on Friday the 23 at 6 PM and features performances from Junior Kelly, Sattalites, DJ Carl Allen and Rayzalution. The show lasts until 11 PM. On the Saturday we’re kicking-off earlier, at 2PM with four musical performances, as well as a dance showcase, and a Jerk Competition. I’d be lying if I said I had any idea what a Jerk Competition is but it will be there.

The IRIE Festival celebrates Canadian, Caribbean, and African artists with musical performances, spoken-word pieces, dancing, art and much more. There will be an array of tropical foods, a full bar, and gift stands. If this sounds like a fun event for you and the whole family, then come on out to Celebration Square on the 22nd or 23rd and enjoy a ton of entertainment for the low cost of nothing!
