Most summer camps are over or coming to an end, however one of the very best is just about to begin.

The Mississauga Steelheads Summer Camp takes place from August 20th to 24th at the Hershey Centre. The event is in partnership with the Mississauga Hockey League and will be a huge aid in developing skill-sets and fundamental knowledge of hockey. Here’s a description of the event from the Steelheads themselves:

“Now in its sixth year, the camp will include instruction from Steelheads’ coaching staff and players. Participants will receive fitness training from our athletic therapist, receive a jersey, partake in a dressing room tour and will have a chance to take pictures with and get autographs from both Sauga and Steelhead players. The development camp is aimed at boys and girls aged 6-13 playing at the house league, select or ‘A’ levels.

“New this year, there will be two sessions offering a total of 60 spots. Each Day the 6-9 age group will run from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm and ages 10-13 will run 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm.”

As you can see in the statement, the camp is available for both boys and girls, and they get access to multiple facets of Steelhead life. Not to mention a jersey from the team, tour, and meet-and-greet opportunities. Spaces for the Camp are limited, so you’ll want to register as soon as possible. To do so you can head to this link, or contact:
