Well then, you’ll be glad to know that Canada’s largest and longest-running D.I.Y Festival returns to Mississauga on October 11th at the International Centre!
The Creativ Festival has been around since 1988 and it is a celebration of all things sewing, knitting, beading, spinning, weaving, felting, quilting, crocheting, stitching, scrapbooking, crafting and loads more. It’s a creative person’s dream, and it might give you some excellent idea’s ahead of the Christmas season!
The Festival will offer more items to buy than you can shake a stick at. There will be things to buy like bracelets, Christmas cards, scarpbooks and more, and there will be demonstrations of how to make your own jewellery, needlework, quilting, paper art, etc.
There will be over 50 exhibitors at the Festival, including A Stitch In Time, The Quilt Store, Stix and Stones, Trebel Woodworking, Dreamtime Creations Inc, and loads more. There will also be a fashion runway, a stage with sewing demonstrations, and a series of classes, which you can register for here. Below is the full schedule for the weekend:
Thursday, October 11 – 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Friday, October 12 – 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday, October 13 – 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Tickets for the Creativ Festival can be purchased here. An adult ticket will cost $16, while a weekend pass can cost $30. The first 500 visitors will get a free tote bag, so make sure you come early! The Creativ Festival kicks-off this week, so come to Canada’s largest D.I.Y celebration!
