Family Day 2019 is fast approaching but it takes place on a Monday this year. Not everyone is able to get Monday off of work, so there needs to be some activities for the weekend instead.

One such event is the always-amazing Kids Fest Toronto. The annual event returns to Mississauga’s International Centre on February 16th, from 10 AM to 6 PM, and continues for the same times on the 17th and 18th. For those who’ve never heard of the event, check out the official description below:

Kids Fest Toronto has more than thirty themed inflatables blown-up and ready for action inside 80,000 square feet at The International Centre, Hall 6 in Mississauga. Children can slide, ride and bounce all day. They range from large slides to toddler appropriate rides. On top of the fabulous inflatables, Kids Fest Toronto offers shows, interactive activities, games, crafts and more.

Kids Fest Toronto takes place indoors at the International Centre in Mississauga over Family Day weekend. You and your family can enjoy live entertainment, inflatables, carnival games, interactive attractions and so much more. Food and drinks available for purchase at the event and parking is free.

As the excerpt says, Kids Fest is the GTA’s biggest indoor kids show, with tons of fun to be had for all ages. There’s various forms of live entertainment, from magicians to exotic animals, dance parties to science displays and much more. For a full event schedule, see the graphic at the end of the article.

Arguably the star of the event however is the plethora of bounce houses and rides. There are over 30 such bounce houses at Kids Fest, with themes that include King Kong, Avengers, and Disney Princesses. There’s also mini-golf and a few Total Wipeout-inspired rides. So whether your kid just wants to bounce with friends and have fun, or is something of a bruiser and wants to challenge themselves, there’s something for them at Kids Fest.

Children under the age of 2 get into the event for free, while those aged 2-12 cost $25 and get unlimited access to all rides and entertainment. Alternatively, you can score a family pass that permits two children and two adults for $60. All ticket information and pricing can be found here. There will be plenty of vendors and places to grab some food and drinks as well, so no need to bring a packed lunch.

Kids Fest 2019 kicks-off this Saturday at 6900 Airport Road Mississauga. The event is guaranteed to be a fun-filled weekend for the whole family, so come along and make some memories!
