If you’ve been patiently waiting for the next great independent coffee shop in Mississauga, wait no longer! You can drive right past Starbucks, Second Cup, and Tim Horton’s, along Hurontario, to try out the city’s latest coffee sensation: Halo Espresso Bar!

The coffee bar just opened its doors at 3024 Hurontario Street, which is right in the heart of Cooksville, near the Colonnade. You can’t miss it if you’re driving through the area.

Inside the store is one of the city’s finest and most laid-back coffee shops. It has beautiful dark wood floors, varying wooden tables and chairs, low hanging lights, and some metal stools by the bar. Your eyes may immediately be drawn to the pretty mural of the world on the back wall, evoking the brands connection to nature. The mural is flanked by a traditional coffee bean machine, which is fascinating to look at and makes for a unique piece of furniture.

Once you head towards the cashier, you’ll notice the glass counter full of delectable pastries. There’s muffins, croissants, cakes, chocolate squares, and much more. As for the coffee, there’s macchiato’s, espresso’s, iced Americano’s, chai latte’s, vanilla/caramel latte’s, triple chocolate latte’s, cold brew, coconut chocolate latte’s, and plenty more.

If coffee isn’t your thing, there’s also hot chocolate, tea, freshly squeezed juice, as well as water, San Pelegrino, and more. Halo Espresso Bar also offers some food, including a turkey breast croissant, grilled cheese panini, toasted bagel with cream cheese, and turkey presto panini.

Halo Espresso Bar is open now for business. It’s open from 7:00am to 8:00pm on weekdays, 10:00am to 6:00pm on weekends. So head to Cooksville today and try out Mississauga’s newest coffee shop, helping make Cooksville more chic!
