The good folk at Benares House are back with another holiday celebration, and this time it’s the Historic Canadian Christmas on Saturday December 9th.
Benares Historic House is an incredibly active museum that runs events on a weekly basis. Now as we approach the Christmas season, it’s no surprise that the museum is already in the seasonal swing. Recently they produced a holiday baking blitz to kick-off the yuletide season, which was a big success. And now they’re conducting an amazing celebration of a historical Canadian Christmas:
“Immerse yourself in the sights and smells of a traditional Christmas this holiday season. Explore our visitor centre to learn about Winter Celebrations from around the world then walk back to the Historic Benares House and be transported to Canadian Christmas past. With carollers, Edwardian Christmas activities and a live Nativity Scene, this event is fun for the whole family.”
The event takes place on Saturday December 9th, from 12 – 4 PM. Admission into the House only costs $15 for a family, $6 for a single adult, and $4.80 for children. Benares Historic House is located at 1507 Clarkson Rd North, and open all-year-round. Come celebrate Christmas past at Benares House and have a great time.
