Celebration Square plays host to more events in the city than any other area throughout the year. In fact, there’s more events this year than ever before, from the free movie nights every Thursday to fresh air fitness, cultural festivals to the 2019 Sweat Games, and everything in between.

Well one of the newest events, and one that we particularly love, is Food Truck’N Friday. This is an event that originated in Toronto and brings together a plethora of wonderful food trucks to showcase some delicious and unique foods. This is a recurring event that has already featured at Celebration Square twice this year, and the next such event is on Friday, July 12.

So on July 12th, you can make your way to Celebration Square in the city centre to experience some delicious foods from 12 PM to 10 PM.

The featured trucks this coming Friday are The Arepa Republic (Venezuelan food, including empanadas), Crepe Street, Pimento Jerk (Jamaican BBQ), Alijandro’s Kitchen (Middle Eastern/Mexican food), The Kathi Roll Express (Indian cuisine), Mustache Burger (100% Canadian burgers), and Bang Bang Burrito.

That’s a lot of amazing foods available and, seeing as the trucks will be at Celebration Square from noon until 10 PM, you’ll be able to make multiple trips to experience lots of different dishes. Don’t worry if you don’t have the time, stomach, or money however, because the Food Truck’N Friday event will be returning in August.

We love amazing food (who doesn’t?) and that’s why we’re so excited about Food Truck’N Friday. It’s an event we’d like to see return every year and get even bigger. That’s why we want you to head to Celebration Square and try it out for yourself. So come on out on Friday July 12th at some point and order some amazing foods for you and yours. See you there!
