Mississauga is no stranger to fantastic Asian cuisine. Whether it’s Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, or Japanese. However, we err on the side of ‘there can never be too much of a good thing’. As such we’re excited to tell you about Mississauga’s newest Japanese restaurant: Edo Japan.
The brand operates a whopping 136 stores across Canada, however only two of those have been in Ontario. Well, the new Mississauga location brings the number to three, and it can be found at the Heartland Town Centre! Let’s hear what Edo is all about from the owners themselves;
Inspired by the tastes, sights and sounds of Japan, our passionate people make your food fresh and by hand. We’re a fresh take on fast, making the choice easy when life is busy.
People love our hand-rolled sushi that’s made fresh in-stores. Thousands enjoy our tasty teriyaki meals with fresh never frozen vegetables and choice cuts of Canadian beef and chicken. Made to order on our 450oF Teppanyaki grill that sears and locks in flavour.
Edo Japan brings a host of traditional Japanese cuisine options to the Heartland Town Centre, including Bento boxes, ramen, noodles, rice, sushi, soups, snacks, and more. Some of the menu highlights are Chicken Udon Ramen, Hawaiian Chicken Bento Box, Teriyaki Salmon Rice, Veggie Noodefull Bowl, and the Futari Sushi Platter. It’s a great menu of Japanese cuisine that is perfect for lunch or dinner.
So if you find yourself in the mood for some awesome new Japanese food, consider heading to 6055 Mavis Road and trying out Edo Japan. If leaving the house isn’t really your thing however, Edo allows you to order online and get the food delivered from the Heartland to your front door. So you have no excuse not to try Mississauga’s latest addition to the Asian cuisine scene.
