Last year, The Crooked Cue hosted the first ever Riverside Public School fundraiser event. The event was known as Pool For School, and we’re excited to say it’s happening again on Sunday, April 14th at 1 PM.
The community fundraiser is a great event that aims to help the kids attending Riverside Public School, which can be found at 30 John Street North, which is just west of the Port Credit river. Here’s what the event is for, straight from the horses mouth:
Your support helps ensure that our children’s education is enriched with technology and the arts, helping them reach their full potential. Our fundraising goal is $15,000! You can support the school by registering, becoming a sponsor, or making a donation to Riverside. Any questions please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
So how do you take part? Well you can head to The Crooked Cue in Port Credit on Sunday, April 14th for 12. The event takes place at 1 PM, but come an hour or so earlier to ensure your registration. As stated above, the goal of the event is to raise $15,000 for the school, and that’s where your $40 participation fee goes. A team of 6 can get a discount however, costing $225. See the graphic below for more details.
Not only will it be an afternoon of playing pool, which is always fun, and socialising with great people, you’ll also be treated to some wonderful hors d’oeurves as part of the ticket price. Drinks you will have to pay for yourself, but The Crooked Cue is one of the best bars in the entire city, so you’ll definitely want to grab a drink and some excellent food.
So join us on Sunday, April 14th at The Crooked Cue for a day of fun and in support of a great cause. Let’s relieve some pressure and help keep Riverside Public School functioning to the best of its abilities. See you there!
