Back in October, we were surprised to learn that the Second Cup location in the heart of Streetsville had closed its doors for good. The Canadian coffee chain always seems a favourite wherever it is, so it’s a shock when one shuts down. Alas, one when business closes its doors, another is sure to open soon thereafter.

And that’s what we’re here to talk about today. The Second Cup on Queen Street, right in the middle of Streetsville, has been replaced by Butter Chicken Roti. If you’re unaware, this is an incredibly popular chain of restaurants that has been dominating the Toronto cuisine scene for a few years.

Our passion started with the need to bring the best flavours from India and share it with the masses in the best roti you will find in town!

Roti is an Indian flatbread made from flour. We have taken the traditional Indian curries and wrapped them in a roti, serving them as a wrap. We can also serve curry and roti on the side if you prefer enjoying them separately.

The new location at 213 Queen Street marks the very first Butter Chicken Roti location in our city. And that’s really exciting because the brand is widely considered to be the very best when it comes to roti dishes.

Butter Chicken Roti offers a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian roti dishes, as well as samosa’s, rice, masala fries, panipuri, papri chat, and so much more. If you’re a fan of Indian food and curry, then this is a must-try spot.

Butter Chicken opened just last month and it has been a huge success in Streetsville so far. The reviews are positive and business is booming, so it looks like Butter Chicken Roti won’t be going the way of Second Cup. Try out Streetsville newest restaurant now!
