Mississauga has a mouth-watering selection of beautiful Asian restaurants to choose from, but the one culture that has always seemed a little under-served is the Vietnamese.
Of course, there are a handful of great Vietnamese restaurants in Sauga but when compared to Japanese, Greek, Indian, or various other cultures, it has noticeably fewer. Well, thankfully the city has just become home to one more, and it’s a truly special place.
Pho Ngoc Yen just opened it’s doors this month on Kamato Road near the 401 Express. As the name would suggest the new restaurant specialises in the signature Vietnamese dish: Pho.
You might be asking what the heck Pho is, well it’s a delicious broth that comes with a variety of diverse ingredients. Simply put, it’s a really fantastic soup. You can have your choice of ingredients, whether it’s beef balls, chicken, pork, and so much more. All but one of the Pho dishes cost $9.50, meaning it’s great bargain for the price.
It’s not all about the Pho though, you can also grab yourself a plate of vermicelli pasta, pad Thai, hot pot, vegetarian dishes, and lots more. The majority of the dishes on the meny are around and below the $10 mark, so it’s good eats for cheap!
The restaurant is open for business and operates from 11 am to 10 pm, so get out there and give it a shot!
