Do you live in Mississauga? Do you appreciate the finer things in life? Are you a lover of all things art? Well then, as you can likely tell already, we have the perfect event for you!

Arts At The Port is an artistic event happening this weekend on Saturday July 20th and Sunday 21st. It’s an event organised by and catered for art lovers, and it’s taking place at Port Credit’s St. Lawrence Square. Here’s a little excerpt about the event by those running it:

Let’s get creative! Join us this summer for the brand-new Arts at the Port event in Port Credit’s beautiful waterfront setting St. Lawrence Square from July 20th to 21st.

Seasoned and emerging artists, music, theatre and dance come alive at this new and colourful event. Come explore the artsy side of Port Credit.

So what can you expect at the event? Well the organisers are promising live artistic music, a short film screening, poetry sessions, dancing, artistic interpretations, a fashion show, vinyl grooves, and, obviously, an art exhibit. It’s a diverse event that really covers the whole gamut of art and expression. And, as we know, expression is survival.

Below we have an image that tells you the entire schedule for the two-day event, which runs from noon until 9 PM on the Saturday, but finishes around 5 PM on the Sunday. We think you’d enjoy everything that’s happening but if you want to just come for a specific event you can do that too!

So come to St Lawrence Square in Port Credit this weekend for two straight days of artistic expression in every almost every possible way. St. Lawrence Square can be found at 75 St. Lawrence Drive, which is the area just south of Hurontario street and right by the gorgeous marina. We’ll see you there!
