This weekend is the highly-anticipated Southside Shuffle! It’s one of the year’s best events and attracts a few thousand people over the three day event.
Often, the Shuffle marks the last of the big Summer events and the beginning of Fall. Naturally, not everyone wants to attend the Shuffle for one reason or another. However, that doesn’t mean you must be a hermit for a day. Our great city always offers more, and we’re here to point you in the direction of those events.
If you’re not coming to Port Credit this weekend for the Shuffle, there’s a plethora of great alternatives you could do. We’ve gathered up the five best events happening this weekend, for those not attending the Shuffle!
The first of which is a pretty big deal. Recently we told you about the opening of the Small Arms Inspection Building. The building was used during World War II and has lay fairly dormant since.
The Mississauga Government worked in conjunction with local artists to redesign the Small Arms Building as a place to house art exhibits. The Forward Motion exhibit is all about traversal and speed. There will be around a dozen artists at the exhibit, so come to the Small Arms Building at 1352 Lakeshore Road East and celebrate local art!
